Vernal, Utah Highway Patrol officer tasers a man because he refuses to sign a questionable speeding ticket.

Highway patrol officers receive training on interacting with the public.. The training includes having the officer allow the driver to give his reasons as to why he was speeding. This officer refused to use his training and made a bad situation unnecessarily worse.

TASERS are a new toy to law enforcement. This officers got a little arrogant with the speeder begging to create a reason to use the TASER to deliver physical punishment to someone who is not a criminal.

The officer has been (mistakenly) told that his TASER is NOT a WEAPON. That's like saying Waterboarding is not torture. Anything that inflicts pain is by definition, A WEAPON!

Call your congressman and let them know you want them to throw away all the tasers and fire all the bad cops.

Under Utah law, when a motorist refuses to sign a ticket, a police officer can do things the easy way, or the hard way. He can make an arrest and jail the offender, or he can simply write "refused to sign" on the dotted line. Either way, the motorist has to pay the fine or show up in court to fight the ticket. Either way, justice will be served.

Listen at the end of the video, how the Cops lies about the incident to the other Cops. Why do they always LIE?

At no point before the Taser did the officer mention that the person was under arrest and not freet to go.

Listen to what the Officer says, "I am placing under arrest because you did not follow my instruction." Since when is that LAW?
