For the most part, most Police Officers are respectable, but in current years I am not happy with the trend and course Law Enforcement has taken. Did they forget they are Public Servants - To SERVE and PROTECT! Cops are not above the law, nor are they better than other people. By Cops Busted

This Police Officer or Trooper stopped a German tourist and gave them a verbal reprimand for the excessive speeding.

This Police Officer or Trooper stopped a German tourist and gave them a verbal reprimand for the excessive speeding.
Apparently the German couple was speeding 98mph in a 70mph zone. As mush as I would have liked to have seen them receive a speeding ticket, I believe the Officer did the right thing; gave them a verbal reprimand and told them to go slow down. I know he sounds a little corny, but I think this officer did what was right for the situation. The German couple do not have an American Driver license, might never return to the US, and writing a ticket on the German license is like writing a citation on toilet paper.
Officer, Job well done. Thanks for not wasting tax payer money, yet letting them know that they were wrong and needed to slow down. I would have liked to have seen you mention that they could be arrested for reckless driving, but GREAT WORK!
