Cops Busted
Cops Busted is not about bashing the Police, but that few bad apples. For the most part, most Police Officers are respectable, but in current years I am not happy with the trend and course Law Enforcement has taken. Did they forget they are Public Servants - To SERVE and PROTECT! Cops are not above the law, nor are they better than other people.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating three cases where prostitutes were picked up in Atlanta and brought to Fayette County. In all three cases, victims were sexually assaulted and beaten then abandoned in north Fayette County.
On April 20, 2009 during the early morning hours, Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies responded to north Fayette County when a motorist observed a partially clothed female, with no shoes, walking in an undeveloped subdivision.
The victim provided Sheriff Deputies with a description of the suspect and the vehicle that the suspect was driving. Evidence left at the scene led investigators to the suspect in this case.
Gerald Copeland, 48, a former 20 year veteran of the Fulton County Police Department and current resident of Fayette County was arrested for aggravated sexual battery, battery and false imprisonment. While other charges are pending, Copeland will appear before a Magistrate Judge for a first appearance hearing at 2:00 p.m. today.
My opinion: I don't think there is any excuse here. Three different women identified Gerald Copeland as the perpetrator in this case. Hey, I you pick a prostitute and get your rocks off, that is one thing, but having to beat and assault them is another. I think this is just a sideaffect of thinking you are above the law!

well...I wonder what he did when He was a cop. I bet if they search through his career they will find victims that he harassed. What bothers me is that its impossible to get away from 20 years of abuse and never been caught. Other cops looked the other way and because of that ..at least 3 women have been brutally assaulted.
If complainst were ignored...I think the officers who took the complaints...the officers in charge of the station..should be reprimanded.
They are responsible in the end because if complainst were indeed ever made...they ignored them. Which ultimately led down this path.

the fries "tasted funny". She walked back with them to copilamn. It had been 11 minutes since she bought them. This was around 12:30pm at lunchtime. Li'l Chick is always busy at that time and fries are served up every 3 minutes and kept under heat lamps at 140 degrees minimum. They are crinkle fries, not skinny ones. They will stay hot in a foam container for at least 30 minutes. She didn't like them for some reason. Sometimes people don't like the color of them. Sometimes people realize they spent too much and want their money back. Nobody knows why she wanted new free ones except her. The fries she received were NOT cold at all. The story was reported because when she called the police they tried to get Li'l Chick to give her free fries. They said "NO". There was nothing wrong with the ones she had now 18 minutes earlier. The cop then said: "okay I want you to remember this when your customers are parking along the street, because we are going to issue them citations. " That was taken as a threat to the worker and he confronted the officer asking him "is that a threat?" The officer obviously wasn't used to a citizen expressing his rights so he was upset. Supervisors were called and the situation wasn't resolved. The news channel mentioned that a threat was claimed but the police said there was no threat so they turned the story into "woman calls 911 for cold fries". The problem arose from a police officer not doing what he should have done and his supervisor not doing what she should have done either. Formal copilamnts were made and an internal investigation is being conducted on this officer. Hopefully she learned her lesson and so did the police. Probably not.
